First time on vinyl for this cult album from Japanese Noise / Death Industrial / junk noise group MOTHRA: Jun-ichi Takahashi (Screloma), Masahiko Okubo (Linekraft / Oozepus), Fumihiro Kojima, and Masahito Nozu.
Harsh noise, rhythmic death industrial and full of Industrial junk percussion, “Doom Engine” was created using gas tanks, iron plates, junk metal, heavy bass, distorted / screamed vocals, and psychedelic sound imagery.
For fans of: early Einsturzende Neubauten / early Test Dept, Kollaps, classic German Death Industrial, but with a distinct Japanese edge.
New artwork by RSJS. Ltd x 400 copies on 180gm vinyl in a 350gsm sleeve.
Screloma (Jun-ichi Takahashi) 's CD [dirt], originally released from the Japanese underground label Three plugs Records in 2004, is reissued by tape from America (Vanity Recordings) in 2020. While being influenced by the artists in early Ant-Zen and Cold Meat Industry, the sound is more noisy, powerful and violent. Jun-ichi used to hit scrap iron in a noise band, and a piece of it is projected on the metallic noise sound of this album. The grievances of everyday feelings are yelled at, the merciless machine gun-like rhythm, the thundering noises slamming on the ground, and the heavy steel machinery that reminds us of nothingness and despair. It also includes a good rhythm track and a Heavy Electronics style song. He is completely apathetic, and is a solitary noise artist known to Japanese people who completely dislike doing the same things as others. (Total time about 40 minutes)

The second album [Rotten Sarkoma] originally released from Steinklang Industries by CD-R in 2008 is also reissued by tape from Vanity Recordings in 2020.
The sound source this time is an original version that was mastered in Tokyo in 2008. The up-tempo song of the previous work hides the sound, and instead expresses a tingling tension reminiscent of This Heat, a cold world view.
He was interested in the human inner world (spiritual world) and focused on resentment of the world and self-confused reflection. It started with a song expressing a drug experiment for inmates, followed by a middle-tempo non-minimal song, with songs like a strange monster in front of you, songs that take you deep into the corridor of the hospital wearing a restraining garment, and songs like the moment a geeky mad scientist pushes the joy button. This work is more represented by a coldly awake, hatred noise that seems to cause psychosis, rather than a powerful noise. (Total time about 60 minutes)
His original idea puts irony and anger in everything in the world.

Released in 2019, new album for the first time in 11 years. Completed in the winter of 2018. This time it is released as a tape from his own new label (subliminal propaganda ) in Japan.
Completely non-minimal, ultra-serious song development, composed of sad and melancholy melody in synths and pianos, incorporating Tibetan music and African rhythm, shooting in the chaotic situation in conflict areas etc., also introduced voice with hatred and fury. A violent, delicate and intricate, fictional war documentary film work was imagined, containing as much concentration as possible into all four songs such as heavy noise songs, post-industrial songs, and crazy folk songs.
(Total time about 30 minutes)
